1 gallon jar whole dill pickles (drained) (do not
use kosher)
4 pound bag of sugar
1/2 cup of tarragon vinegar
2 tablespoons pickling spice
4-5 cloves of garlic (mashed)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pickles and cut into slices. Put them back
into the jar alternating a layer of pickles, a layer of
sugar. Half ways up the jar add Pickling spice and
garlic (you can put the garlic and spice in a piece
of cheese cloth. Start layering the pickles and
sugar again till they are all gone. Add the vinegar.
Put the lid on and let it stand for 3 days on the
counter at room temperature, turning it over to
melt the sugar. Refrigerate after 3 days.
