4-6 small Lipton tea bags (depending on
desired strenth)
1 cup sugar
2 quarts water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil one cup of water in a small pan. Put tea bags
in water, boil 15 to 20 seconds and remove pan
from heat. Cover pan and let tea steep for 5
minutes. Put 1 cup of sugar in gallon pitcher or
jug. Remove tea bags and pour hot tea over sugar.
Stir until sugar has melted. Fill to 2 quarts of tea;
or, if you are going to serve the tea immediately,
use ice cubes as part of the additional water to
cool off the tea. Serve over ice and with
lemon(optional).
