1 pound sausage (I use Jimmy Deans) sweet or hot
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1 can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilis ( mild or hot ) drained well

Athens mini Fillo cups (freezer section, boxes of 15)

This recipe will make 45-60 cups depending on full you fill them.

Fry sausage until well browned and drain well (drain grease then put on paper towel to absorb all of grease)

Return sausage to frying pan and add cream cheese and drained tomatoes.

Mix until all melted together.

Fill Fillo cups.

Put under broiler for 6-8 minutes to warm.

You can fill the cups, replace them back into the trays they come in, cover with foil and freeze. They make a great go to snack or appetizer for when unexpected guests arrive.
Just pull them out of the freezer, put on baking sheet and put under the broiler for 8-10 minutes to thaw and heat.
