2 pound round steak
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup salad oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
10 1/2 ounce can beef broth
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Remove gristle and fat from steak ( can use stew beef) Cut into bite size pieces. Dredge in seasoned flour.Brown in oil and add onion until tender. Add beef broth, water and herbs. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour until tender. ( add more water if necessary)
Before serving stir in mushrooms, sherry and sour cream. Serve over hot noodles.
