1/4 cup Shao Hsing rice wine or dry sherry (I used white wine with a bit of soy sauce)
1 1/2 teaspoons oyster flavored sauce
2 teaspoons corn starch
4 teaspoons canola or other vegetable oil
3/4 pound of sirloin steak thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon of crushed hot red pepper flakes
1/2 cup raw shrimp (peeled and chopped if they are large)
1 pound bok choy trimmed and sliced in 1 inch pieces (I separated the mostly green leafy stuff from the white stems)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice wine, oyster sauce, and corn starch together.
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large non stick pan or wok.
Add beef and red pepper.
Cook 1-2 minutes until the meat begins to brown.
Add shrimp and cook 1-2 minutes.
Transfer to a plate.
Add remaining 2 teaspoons of oil to the wok over medium high heat. Add white the white part of the bok choy and cook for 2 - 4 minutes. Stir in corn starch mixture and green part of the bok choy and add the beef - shrimp mixture.
Stir until it thickens slightly.

Serve with rice.
Can use more veggies such as carrots, sugar peas, celery etc.
Can use a little hot sauce to replace the red pepper flakes.
