5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 pound pastry lard
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Work pastry lard into flour. Beat eggs in cup, add vinegar and fill cup with cold water. Mix well. Roll out fairly thin and place in pie pans. Put in the fruit filling and cover pie with more rolled out pastry. Press down around the edges. Poke the top of the pie with a knife for a few air holes. Bake as directed.

Make your favorite fruit pies with this pastry. It keeps well in the fridge or you may freeze it in tinfoil pie shells until ready to use. You could also bake the pie shells separately, cool and fill with chocolate pudding and whipped cream.
