2 cups sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 cups hot applesauce
2 cups raisins
2 cups chopped nuts (English Walnuts)
2 1/2 cups plain flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 º. Cream together sugar, butter and eggs..Sift all dry ingredients and add to hot apple sauce. Combine dry ingredients. Add nuts & raisins. Bake in tube pan until done.
