1 pkg. chocolate ice box cookies (Nabisco 8 1/2 oz.), crushed
1 c. pecans finely chopped
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 lb. softened butter

Mix well and put into 3 pie plates. Save a bit to sprinkle on top of pies.
Bake at 350 for 8 min. - careful not to burn. Cool to cold.

Mix with electric mixer the following:
2 qt. vanilla ice cream (which has been softened)
1 1/2 c. finely chopped peppermint sticks
Then whip:1/2 pt. whipping cream - flavored with a little sugar and vanilla.

Use spatula to spread a small amount of whipped cream mixture on all three crusts. Fill each with ice cream mixture.
Cover top with remaining whipped cream mixture and sprinkle with chocolate nut mixture.
Place in freezer over night. May be stored, covered, in freezer for weeks
