2 c. all purpose flour
1 cup pecans, finely chopped and divided
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. seedless raspberry jam or preference

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Combine flour, 1/2 c. pecans, cinnamon, allspice and salt in a bowl.

Beat butter in large bowl until smooth. Gradually add in sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Add dry ingredients to mixture and beat until blended.

Form dough into 1 in. balls and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Slightly flatten balls on sheet and press your thumb into the centers of each to form an indentation. Press together any cracks in dough.

Fill each with 1/2 tsp. of jam and sprinkle each with remaining pecans.

Bake 14 minutes or until just set, remove to wire racks to cool.
