3 cups dried medium noodles (6 ounces)
1 pound of ground beef
2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce
1 teaspoon, dried basil (crushed)
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon garlic
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 8-ounce sour cream
1 8-ounce cream cheese, softened
½ cup milk
¼ cup chopped onion
1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, cooked and well drained
1 cup of shredded cheese

Directions:

Grease a casserole dish.
Cook noodles according to package and set aside.
Cook hamburger meat and drain grease. Stir in tomato sauce, basil, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper in skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce to simmer for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl beat together sour cream and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in milk and onion. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the noodles (about 2 cups), half of the meat mixture, half of the cream cheese mixture and all of the spinach. Top with the remaining meat mixture and noodles. Cover and chill remaining cream cheese mixture until needed.
Cover baking dish with greased foil. Bake at 350’ for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover; spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes.
