2 lbs. pork steaks, cut in 1-inch cubes
3 to 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp white sugar
¼ tsp Chinese Five Spice
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp tapioca starch, (I use cornstarch)
drops sesame oil
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tsp cooking wine

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat up a wok with high heat and add 2 tbsp. peanut oil; heat until smoke begins to rise.

2. Put in ginger and garlic to brown for 30 seconds. Add pork, dark soy sauce, Chinese 5 spice, cooking wine, sesame oil and sugar. Stir fry for 2 minutes; then add 1/2 cup water and cook with medium heat for 30 minutes. Cover with a lid.

3. When done, dissolve starch in 1/4 cup of water, and 1 tsp. soy sauce. Add to the pork to cook for a minute. Garnish with chopped green onion.
