2 lemons
1/2 lb. granulated sugar
3 T. butter
2 eggs
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar on a plate and grate lemon rind over it and work in with a fork.
Let sit for a while.
Blend eggs and strained lemon juice in a pan and add sugar and rind.
Beat slightly and stir over low heat until it thickens.
Cool and spread over old Scottish pancakes.
