2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 c thick sour cream
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/4 t soda
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Beat eggs until light and fluffy, add sugar gradually, and beat after each addition. Add sour cream and beat well. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and soda together and add in three portions.

This recipe is from Darnell Scott. She was my father's (Lawrence Cook) sister. The picture is of a recipe in her own handwriting and was part of a 1950 Cook Book compiled by the Benedict Methodist Church Ladies.
