"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is another staple Nana always made for us when we went to Pennsylvania. I have not been able to make them very well. Mine always seem to come out as heavy as hockey pucks. I wish I could ask her what I am doing wrong, but I will keep working on them because they are delicious.
