1½ cups sliced mushrooms
1 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1½ pounds ground beef
3/4 cup unseasoned bread crumbs
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Sour cream sauce:
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp prepared horseradish
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the mushrooms and the onion in butter. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Put half of mixture into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Make shallow trough down the center of the meat for filling.
Spoon mushroom-sour cream mixture into this indentation.
Shape the rest of the meat over the filling, making sure all filling is covered.
Seal meat well around the edges.
Bake for one hour.
Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.

Combine all ingredient for sour cream sauce and serve hot with meatloaf.
