1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup 2 percent milk
1/4 cup cream of tartar
1/4 cup salted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars,salt,cream and cream of tartar. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cook until mixture registers 235º on candy thermometer, then cool to 220 degrees. Add butter,vanilla and pecans and beat until creamy with a wire whisk.

While still soft, drop by spoonful onto a piece of buttered wax paper, with about 4 inches of space between each. When cool, cut waxed paper between and wrap individually.
