2 eggs
3 cups grated potatoes
1/3 cup grated onion
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 pepper
Cooking oil

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light and foamy. Stir in potato,onion,flour and seasonings until thoroughly blended. Heat 1/4 inch oil in large, heavy skillet. For each pancake, drop 1/4 cup potato mixture into oil. Fry on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with butter.

Izzy,s was a restaurant located down town Cincinnati, located close to Shillito,s. They were known for their corned beef sandwiches and potato pancakes. Potato pancakes is typical German dish and was something that my Mother fixed often.
