2 1/4 cups of flour.
1 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
1 tsp of salt.
3/4 tsp of nutmeg.
1/2 cup of sugar.
2 Tbsp of shortening.
2 egg yolks.
2/3 cup of sour cream.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour,baking powder,salt and nutmeg.
In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment mix sugar and shortening for 1 minute.
Add egg yolks and beat for one minute.
Add dry ingredients to butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream.
Dough will be sticky.
Transfer dough to a clean bowl and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Roll out dough to 1 inch thickness.
Cut as many doughnuts and holes as you can.
Fry in oil until the doughnut floats, fry 15 seconds then gently flip them and fry for 75-90 seconds.
Flip and fry the other side for 60 seconds.
