Ingredients:
3 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion
1 qt. tomato (or V8) juice (I use V8 juice)
4 tbsp. chili powder (I use way more than that)
3 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch (as needed to thicken)
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and onion together, drain fat. Stir mixture until hamburger is fine, no big pieces.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Thicken with 2 tbsp. cornstarch.
I then put the chili sauce in the crockpot and simmer for about 3 - 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom Chetister loved this chili sauce, I use to make it and put enough for 2 hotdogs in baggies and Mom would freeze them and just take one out as she needed them.
