1 1/2 lb. hamburger (preferably lean or extra lean)
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. mustard
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 egg
1 c. dried fine bread crumbs

Sauce:
1 1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. mustard
1/ c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix first 9 ingredients together. Slowly add bread crumbs until mixture is not runny. Breadcrumbs are not needed for not needed for flavor so only use as many as needed for consistency. Form mixture into a ball and press into a loaf pan.

Combine ketchup, mustard and brown sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.

Bake meat loaf in oven at 350ºF for 1 hour 10 min. After 45 minutes spoon approximately 1/2 sauce mixture over top to cover. Repeat again at 1 hour using remaining sauce.

This recipe freezes well prior to cooking. Sauce would not be made or added until thawed and ready to cook.
