Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Four generations of my family have made and enjoyed this simple apple (or other fruit) dessert. It’s officially called “apple crisp”, but at home we have always called it “apple goody”. It has appeared at countless potlucks (e.g., 9/29/13), because it’s very easy, you can make it ahead of time and/or freeze, and it’s popular. You can also make it with other fruit such as peaches, cherries, rhubarb, etc.
