Dare Breton Crackers (Grandma Marg uses saltines)
1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar, packed

Topping:
1 2/3 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Overlap crackers on a foil-lined 9X13" cookie sheet. Use 4 crackers across and 7 crackers lengthwise.

Stir margarine and brown sugar in sauce pan until it comes to a bowl. Pour carefully over crackers. Bake for 5 minutes.

Topping:
Scatter chocolate chips over the top. Let stand until soft. Spread with a spatula to cover. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool. Break into pieces and store in refrigerators.
