4-5 L Turkey broth or water
2 c. chopped/cubed turkey meat
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 c. carrots, largely chopped
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 c. rice or barley, uncooked
1 1/2 c. green beans, cut (I use frozen)
2 cubes chicken bouillon (if using water instead of broth you may need more)
1 tbsp. marjoram
1 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 c. frozen corn

Melt margarine in sauce pan over medium heat. Add onions, celery and carrots and cook until tender.

In a large pot add turkey stock or water, tomatoes (not drained), rice or barley, green beans, corn chicken bouillon cubes, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, ginger, cayenne pepper, and onion, celery and carrots mixture. Mix. Add turkey.

Bring soup to a boil, reduce to low heat and simmer until rice/barley is cooked. Approximately 30-35 minutes

Note: If you like spicy try adding 2 hot peppers finely chopped.
