1/4 lb butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Separate egg and add yolk to butter and sugar. Add flour , salt and vanilla. Roll into little balls and flatten very thin. Beat egg white until stiff. Brush tops of cookies with egg white. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes until brown and crisp.
