3 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
3/4 c. water
Pinch of salt
2 egg whites, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until very stiff, set aside.
Combine sugar, Karo, water and salt in pan.
Cook uncovered until boiling, then cover for 3 minutes.
Uncover and cook to 251º and take off stove.
Add slowly to egg whites.
Beat with mixer on high until very pretty stiff and fluffy.
Add vanilla and nuts before candy begins to set.
Drop from spoon to greased cookie sheet.
