6 to 8 pork chops ( fried, baked, grilled or anyway you want to prepare them)
1-package mahatma saffron yellow rice (cook following directions on package)

GRAVY;
1/4-cup oil (any except olive)
1-teaspoon butter
1-cup chopped onions
2-tablespoons of flour
salt and pepper to taste
beef or chicken stock

Directions:
Spray baking dish with cooking spray, add cooked rice to dish and spread on bottom of dish, then add cooked pork chops on top of rice. To make gravy, in sauce pan on medium heat add oil, butter, let butter melt then add cup of onions. When onions become translucent, add flour and stir until light brown. Add a little stock at a time until mixture is only slightly thick, add salt and pepper. If mixture becomes too thick add more stock. Pour gravy mixture over rice and chops.
Place uncovered in 400 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until begins to bubble.
