2/3 c butter
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 lb pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan or Dutch oven, melt butter. Stir in sugar and spices. Mix and heat up well.
Dump pecans into saucepan, slowly and stir - stopping periodically to be sure you are coating them well.
Empty onto large cookie sheet with lip.
Bake at 275º for a total of 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. At end of baking time, turn pecans once more.
Let cool. Place in airtight containers.
Great over ice cream, in tossed salads or all by themselves.
