2Lbs. Pinto Beans , 4 tsp. salt, 4T. oil, 12 slices of bacon, 1 small onion,
4 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp. pepper, 1/2 cup of molasses, 1 cup ketchup, 3 shakes of Tabasco sauce, 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, 1 cup cider vinegar, 1/4 tsp. dry mustard, 3T. cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water

Place beans in a large stock pot, add oil and cover with water to soak for at least 6 hrs. After soaking cover the beans and cook for 2 hours. (cook on medium low, making sure they are a light boil). Do no burn the beans, check liquid, add more if needed. Beans should be tender at this point.
After the2 hours
Cut bacon in 1 inch pieces, dice the onion, mince the garlic.
In a small bowl add the cornstarch and the 1/4 cup of water and mix well. add all the ingredients to the pot of beans, stir and cover. Cook for 1 1/2 hours. Beans should soft but not mushy.
