1 small bottle maraschino cherries
1 box light brown sugar
1 white cake mix
l can coconut
3 T. butter or margarine
Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour oblong baking pan. In large saucepan, mix cherries, juice, coconut, brown sugar and margarine. Heat until sugar dissolves. While heating, mix white cake mix according to directions. Pour cherry coconut mixture in bottom of floured pan, smooth evenly. Pour cake mix over mixture, shake gently to remove excess bubbles. Bake 25 minutes at 375°; cool 15 min. after removing from oven. Turn upside down on serving platter and decorate with whole cherries.
