4 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening

1 beaten egg
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour & salt
Add Crisco and blend.

Mix egg,water,vinegar,sugar in measuring cup & add to flour.
Roll out on a floured board.

Bake empty crust at 425º for 15 - 18 minutes.
use fork to make holes over all crust and put a smaller glass pie plate into the pie so the crust will not bubble up and will brown evenly.
Cool before filling.

Put pie pan over rolled crust and flip over to prevent dough from tearing.
