1 large fryer
Salt
Garlic powder
Pepper
Paprika
1/2 tsp. dried or 1 tsp. fresh chopped parsley
Parsley flakes
1 medium onion
1 c. dry white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Clean chicken and drain well.

Season cavity with salt, pepper, paprika and dried or chopped parsley.

Peel and insert whole onion into the cavity.

Set chicken in a shallow pan (like the bottom of a broiler pan).

Pour wine over chicken.

Season the outside of the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley flakes.

Cover pan loosely with foil.

Bake at 325º about 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is tender.

Remove foil and continue bake for another 30 minutes to allow chicken to brown.
