2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 c. Spanish peanuts (not raw)
1 Tbsp. butter or marg.
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides.
In heavy sauce pan on high heat, cook sugar and syrup to hard crack stage on candy thermometer.
Dump in peanuts, cook exactly 3 mins. stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Whip in butter or marg., soda and vanilla.
Pour onto prepared cookie sheet.
Let cool completely and break in pieces.
