3- tbsp. cocoa
3- tbsp. self- rising flour
3/4- cup sugar
2- cups milk

Pinch salt
1- tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into heavy saucepan bring to a boil reduce heat, cook until mixture thickens. Stir mixture constantly while cooking. Pour into homemade pie crust or my preference store bought. If store bought crust put in 350º oven until just begins to get lightly brown. (best to put few holes in bottom of crust with fork before you put in oven).

MERINGUE: Beat egg whites until fluffy, fold in about 2- tbsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Spread on top of chocolate and bake in 350 degree oven until meringue is golden brown.

VARIATION: use about 1- cup coconut instead of cocoa for coconut pie.
