225 grams ( 1/2 pound) mixed peel
450 grams ( 1 pound) seeded lexia raisins
450 grams ( 1 pound) currants
rind and juice of 1 lemon and 1 orange
450 grams ( 1 pound) brown sugar
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp salt
1 pound ground suet
1 1/2 cups cider
2 1/2 quarts chopped apples ( 10 or 11 large)

Directions:
Cut up the larger raisins and make sure you wash the currants. You could cut the suet a bit and add butter, or just cut the amount. Can be put in sealers or just in the fridge.
