1 large head broccoli or 2- 10 ounce packages of frozen
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 or 2 cups sliced almonds
4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
1 can mushrooms, drained ( can use fresh
grated cheddar
butter and paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook broccoli until tender. Drain and place in a flat casserole. In a saucepan melt butter and blend in flour. Add milk a little at a time, stirring well. Add cheese to thicken. If not thickened in 10 minutes , add a little more cheese. Mixture should be pourable. Sprinkle almonds, bacon, and mushrooms on broccoli. Pour cheese sauce over top. Sprinkle grated cheddar., Dab with butter and sprinkle paprika. Bake 1/2 hour at 350º
