2 cups flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
6 tbsp. cold butter
1 ½ cups blueberries
1 tsp. lemon zest
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs, lightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F with rack in center.
2. In a large bowl add sifted dry ingredients.
3. Cut in butter using pastry blender.
4. Stir in blueberries and zest.
5. Whisk together cream and eggs.
6. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Stir carefully in the cream and eggs.
7. Turn out onto floured board.
8. Pat dough into 6 inch square, 1 ¼ inch thick. Cut squares in half and then triangles continue until you have 8 scones.
9. Transfer to greased baking sheet.
10. Brush top with cream and sprinkle with sugar.
11. Bake until golden brown for 20-22 minutes. Cool on rack.
