4 c shelled and peeled fava beans (can use Lima beans but not as good)
6 cloves quartered garlic
1 heaping c sliced green olives
1 or 2 tbs fresh herbs or 1 or 2 tsp dried or your choice (I use sage and basil)
2 tbs olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except the oil.
Put oil in the bottom of a casserole dish and then pour the rest of the ingredients on top. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes covered with a lid or foil.

When done stir and then add salt and pepper. Drizzle with a little bit more oil. Serve warm or at room temperature.

To cook fava beans: put shelled beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Immediately put in cold water, cool, and peel.
