1/3 c. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
1 c. peeled, finely diced apples
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Streusel Mixture:

Combine and blend together:
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Blend in egg. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Fold in apples and nuts. Fill muffin tins 1/3 full. Add 1 tblsp. streusel mix, then spread with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining streusel mixture. Bake at 425º for about 25 minutes.
