1/2 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk
6 tbsp cocoa

Boil for 1 minute no longer.

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup coconut
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Boil first four ingredients for 1 minute no longer.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cool a little and drop on wax paper.
I like to store them in the fridge-best chilled.

Personal Notes:
These were a favorite of mine that my Grandma Sedgwick made and many were eaten by grandchildren who visited the farm in Saskatchewan.
