4 quarts of popped popcorn
1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup in sauce pan. Bring to a boil on top of stove and continue to boil for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Remove from stove, add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Add pecans and almonds or whatever nuts you prefer.

Alternative: To make carmel popcorn add brown sugar instead of white sugar and boil for 5 minutes.
