1c. + 2tbsp. Warm Water
1pkg. Yeast
1tbsp Sugar
21/2c. Flour
1tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water, add dry ingredients and mix.
Knead 10 min.
Put in greased bowl, cover and let sit in warm area (85F) until doubled (about 45 min)
Remove from bowl, put on floured surface and punch down, let sit 15 min.
Roll into rectangle with a rolling pin
Roll up, pinch ends, shape, and put into a greased loaf pan, seam side down.

Bake 10 min at 400F, then 20 min at 350F

Cool 15-20 min. before cutting

Recipe is from Clarissa's great grandfather, John Bellino, who was from Italy and worked in a bakery. It was passed down to her grandfather, who made it every week. The family never ate store bought bread.
