1 round of brie cheese 6-8 oz.
1 crisp apple of your choice (such as granny smith, gala)
1/4 cup firm packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp of melted butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup toasted pecans or nut of choice
1 sheet of puff pastry rolled out to 1/4 inch thickness
1 egg beaten with 1 Tbsp of water

preheat oven to 375º

Mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Toss in apples and nuts.
Place brie in center of puff pastry. Spoon apple mixture on top of brie. Wrap pastry around cheese bringing edges to center and pinching together to seal. Brush with egg wash. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for approx. 40-45 minutes or until pastry is golden all over and crisp.
Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes. Serve with favorite crackers or sliced baguette.

Quick and easy. You can make it your own by changing out what you put inside. Cranberries are a good edition. When peaches are in season they can be used instead of apples. Enjoy!
