1.25 cups evaporated milk
1.25 cups condensed milk
1 16oz container of Cool Whip, thawed (fat free works too)
4 slices of bread (preferably white)
1/2 tsp crushed cardamom
1 tsp crushed pistachio (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut/tear the bread into 1/2 inch squares.
2. Put the bread pieces, evaporated milk, and condensed milk into a blender and process till the bread is fine crumbs.
3. Add the Cool Whip and pulse until blended.
4. Pour into a glass container and sprinkle with the crushed cardamom and pistachios (if using).
5. Freeze for a couple of hours or until set.
6. Enjoy

- I find it handy to freeze in icecube trays, makes serving very easy.

Just a blender needed for delicious homemade icecream! This one is a favorite for my sophomore at MIT :).
This icecream can be made with any flavor combination - Watch out if you are adding fruit with high water content, the water may form ice crystals when frozen.
