1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp dehydrated minced onion
pepper
3 cups chicken broth
1 can mushroom pieces
3 cups cooked chicken
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup carrots
pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in 3/4 to 1 cup of flour, salt , dehydrated onion and pepper. Gradually stir in chicken broth. Cook until thickened. Add vegetables and mushrooms. Pour into a 9 x 13 casserole. Cover with pastry and bake at 400º for about 45 minutes.
