Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted 1/2 cup dry white wine 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup flour (optional) 1 teaspoon minced garlic (I use the jar stuff) 6 cups hot cooked egg noodles
|
|
Directions: |
Directions:Cut the chicken into small cubes. In your Crock Pot, mix together the can of soup, wine, garlic, and the spices. Stir in the uncooked chicken.
Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours.
Add sour cream to the pot during the last 30 minutes. If the mixture is too runny for your tastes, you can thicken it with the optional 1/4 cup of flour.
10 minutes before your chicken is done, boil a pot of water and cook your egg noodles. |

Notes: Hint for the kiddos: I pull out the chicken and sauce I'm going to serve and pour into their bowls. Then I put this in the fridge for a couple of minutes. After I serve the adults their noodles, I run cool water over the strainer of kid noodles to cool them off a bit.
Also...I added some frozen pea and broccoli...might be good with carrots too And what meal is complete without garlic biscuits? Of course I was too lazy to get a real recipe, but these do just fine!
