1 cup bread crumbs or Japanese Panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. minced parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1/8 tsp. fresh grated pepper to taste
1/2 cup butter
1 clove crushed garlic (or more, as desired)
1 2-1/2 to 3 lb frying chicken cut into pieces (or you can use your favorite selected pieces - breasts, legs, wings, thighs, etc.)
Remove chicken skin if desired

Directions:

Combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper.
Melt butter and crushed garlic in a shallow pan.
Dip pieces of chicken in garlic butter and then roll in crumb mixture (can get messy!).
Place in baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Do not turn chicken pieces.
Enjoy!
