4 cups of cooking apples sliced and packed .
2 tbsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of cinnamon .
1/4 tsp of nutmeg
2 tbsp of hot melted butter
1/4 cup of hot water


BATTER -------
2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 cup of melted margarine



Directions:
Directions:
Turn the sliced apples into a 9by 9 inch baking pan . Sprinkle the sugar and the spices over the apples . Pour the 2 tbsp melted margarine and the water over the apples .

Make the batter and spread the batter evenly over the apple mixture ,

Bake 350 F for 30 minutes .
