1 1/2 pounds round steaks
1 1/2 T. vegetable oil
2 large carrots
1 4 oz. can black mushrooms
1 10 oz can golden condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. dry sherry
1/2 t. garlic salt
3 c. cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak into strips. Brown meat in oil on high heat. Add onions. Sauté until golden brown. Blend soup, sherry and liquid from mushrooms and garlic powder. Pour over steak, add mushrooms, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or bake at 350º. Serve over rice. This can be made ahead and frozen.
