2 pounds tenderloin or fillet steaks, or sirloin steak
1 pound fresh mushrooms
1 c. minced onions
1/4 c. butter or margarine
21 ounces beef broth
1/4 c. catsup
2 cloves garlic
2 t. salt
1/3 c. flour
2 c. light sour cream
Rice or noodles

Cut meat into bite sized pieces. In skillet, cook and stir mushrooms and onion in butter until onion is tender. Remove mushrooms and onion. In same skillet brown meat lightly on both sides. Set aside 3/4 c. broth, add remaining broth, catsup, garlic and salt to skillet. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour, stir into the meat mixture. Add mushrooms and onion. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over rice or noodles.
