3 lb. pork butt roast or shoulder roast
4 oz. liquid smoke
kosher salt

Sprinkle roast with salt and rub on all sides. Put in large pan and pour liquid smoke over it. Cover tightly. Bake at 250 degrees for 8 hours. Serve with rolls or over rice.

I got this recipe from an Air Force friend in 2004 in Idaho. I shared it with my mom (Ronda) and she's shared it with just about all of NW Arkansas. It is absolutely delicious and couldn't be easier! Your house will smell like liquid smoke for awhile after making though!
